These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.  Job Description  Document Control Specialist<ul><li>Administer document control processes to support the full lifecycle (creation, review, release, revision, archival) for engineering, customer support, and quality documents.</li><li>Maintain document repositories and configuration baselines in the approved PLM/EDMS (e.g., Ingenuus, SharePoint, XA) ensuring version accuracy, metadata integrity, and access permissions.</li><li>Assign and manage document numbers, part numbers, and change identifiers consistent with company standards, work instructions, and CM plans.</li><li>Review Engineering Orders (EOs), to ensure complete, correct, and compliant packages prior to release.</li><li>Review/validate Bill of Material (BOM), Data entry in the Document Management System (DMS), filling digital and hardcopy document requests, and media duplication on automated equipment</li><li>Perform configuration status accounting (CSA) and generate release document lists.</li></ul>Quality &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure documents meet formatting, content, and traceability requirements in accordance with applicable procedures and standards (e.g., ISO 9001/AS9100, customer and regulatory requirements).</li><li>Conduct periodic file audits for accuracy, obsolescence, and proper retention; remediate issues and drive corrective actions.</li><li>Safeguard controlled records, and support archival and retrieval processes.</li></ul>Process Improvement &amp; Training<ul><li>Support and Analyze document control workflows to identify bottlenecks; implement standard work, templates, and automation to reduce cycle time and errors.</li><li>Support Engineering, Quality, and Operations to harmonize naming conventions, metadata standards, and review/approval paths.</li></ul>Cross‑Functional Support<ul><li>Help provide rapid, accurate document retrieval for production, supplier, and customer needs.</li><li>Coordinate internal/external document transmittals, ensuring proper distribution lists, export control compliance, and acknowledgment of receipt.</li></ul><div></div>What You Need<ul><li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience in Document Control, Configuration Management, or Quality considered.</li><li>2–5 years of hands‑on document control or CM experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment (aerospace/defense preferred).</li><li>Proficiency with DMS, PLM/EDMS tools (e.g., Ingenuus, XA and SharePoint) and MS Office; comfort with PDFs.  Proficiency in creating and maintaining MS Access databases is highly desirable.</li><li>Working knowledge of change control processes and standards (e.g., ISO 9001/AS9100).</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through; able to manage multiple priorities against deadlines.</li><li>Ability to read and understand Engineering Parts lists on drawings and in the DMS, PLM/EDMS tools.</li><li>Able to support and maintain a comprehensive filing system.</li><li>Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal) and a strong customer‑service mindset.</li><li>Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).</li></ul>  Salary Range: $62,800.00-$83,700.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
