The position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, Supplier Quality, Operations, and Global Purchasing to drive sourcing excellence and long-term value creation.How You Will Do<ul><li>Develop and deploy global sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, product roadmaps, and regional requirements</li><li>Manage total spend and supplier base for assigned commodities, ensuring optimal sourcing footprint and risk mitigation</li><li>Lead global supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract management</li><li>Drive cost optimization initiatives including volume bundling, dual sourcing, design-to-cost, and lifecycle-based sourcing</li><li>Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term performance, innovation, and capacity growth</li><li>Ensure alignment with quality, cost, delivery, and service expectations across all programs</li><li>Support global procurement process improvements, digitalization, and governance</li><li>Work closely with Program management, Operations, Engineering and other departments for existing programs and new programs.</li><li>Develop and implement negotiation strategies for global and regional materials.</li><li>Lead supplier selection, RFQs, contract negotiations, and long-term agreements</li><li>Manage supplier performance, including cost, quality, delivery, and service metrics</li><li>Evaluate supplier quotations using advanced cost analysis and procurement techniques</li><li>Drive supplier development initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost competitiveness</li><li>Support capacity planning and supply assurance strategies, including risk mitigation (e.g., EOL, PCN, allocation risks for electronics). </li><li>Collaborate with Engineering on design-to-cost, BOM optimization, and lifecycle management</li><li>Work with Program Management to ensure alignment with program milestones, cost targets, and timing</li><li>Support prototype, Prototype, ED,DV/PV, and serial production readiness with suppliers and operations. </li><li>Develop and maintain budgets, standard costs, and savings roadmaps for assigned commodities</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements across sourcing, procurement tools, and supplier management. </li><li>Contribute to long-term commodity strategy and manage complex commercial and supply chain risks</li></ul>What We Look For: Required • University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent • Solid experience in global purchasing, commodity management, or supplier  development in an industrial/automotive environment • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and procurement regulations • Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems, cost analysis, and MS Office.  • Fluent in English (additional language is a plus)Preferred • Experience in Li-ion battery components, Super capacitors, plastics, mechanical systems, or electronics sourcing.
