The Test Technician will be focused on assembling prototype engine assemblies and building and operating ground testing equipment. They will have a solid track record with system hardware and instrumentation and proficiency of troubleshooting and developing creative solutions.</div><div> </div><div><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></div><ul><li>Assemble prototype aerospace products and develop assembly instructions.</li><li><div>Assist in the setup of test stations and test article instrumentation.</div></li><li><div>Assists and conducts tests with data acquisition.</div></li><li>Develop and implement wiring layouts for ground tests and vehicle systems.</li><li><div>Operate basic metal machining tools.</div></li></ul><div><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></div><ul><li><div>U.S Citizenship is required.</div></li><li><div>Minimum of 4 years of experience as an electronics, test, or assembly technician.</div></li><li><div>Expert skill with general hand tools, precision measurement tools, and electronics fabrication.</div></li><li><div>Demonstrated experience with wiring diagrams. </div></li><li><div>Experience building high performance assemblies such as engines.</div></li><li>Familiarity with using test equipment (multimeters, accelerometers, pressure sensors).</li><li>Respect for both the safety of yourself and others, experience and awareness of high voltage electrical systems and electromechanical spinning machinery, and the ability to work safely in a lab test environment.</li></ul><div><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></div><ul><li><div>IPC Certification 610 or 620</div></li><li><div>Experience balancing rotating machinery</div></li><li>Experience in R&amp;D space</li><li>Proficiency in SolidWorks other similar CAD program.</li><li><div>Basic proficiency with MATLAB and/or Python basic data analysis.</div></li></ul><div><h3>Benefits: </h3><ul><li>Top-tier Benefits: Employee-first focused comprehensive benefits package, minimum of 90% employer-paid plans for employees and dependents with optional HSA/FSA account offerings</li><li>PTO &amp; Federal Holidays: Starting at four weeks of paid time off for vacation, sick, and personal days</li><li>Competitive Salary: Value-based compensation, plus enjoy Tennessee’s no-income-tax life</li><li>End of Year Bonuses: For eligible employees</li><li>We always have beverages and snacks available to energize you throughout the day, with paid team meals based on office demands.</li><li>401(k) </li><li>Relocation Assistance</li><li>Professional Development Stipend</li></ul><p><em>Whisper Aero is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
