AECOM is actively seeking a responsive, organized, detailed orientated SH&amp;E Manager for immediate employment to lead Safety, Health &amp; Environment efforts for part of AECOM’s Environment Business Line. This position works as a member of a dynamic team of SH&amp;E Managers, Specialists, and Administrators providing support to AECOM Design, Consulting Services operations throughout the United States. The SH&amp;E Manager must be able to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and challenges, make assessments about resource needs and assist operations leadership in successfully delivering safe and healthy work. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.   This position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule and can be based from a variety of locations in the US where AECOM has an office, with a preference for candidates on the West Coast or in Hawaii.      The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:<ul><li>Provide visible and active support throughout the region for safety</li><li>Monitor and assess safety programs at diverse work sites (civil construction, building construction, environmental remediation and construction)</li><li>Identify specific, actionable and feasible solutions to complex safety, health and environmental issues</li><li>Lead the incident management process and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions </li><li>Review site and project specific safety plans, training programs, audit protocols, and supporting safety programs (rewards and recognition, security plans etc)</li><li>Recommend changes to policies and procedures that affect the region’s operations and employees </li><li>Train and coach all levels of employees in the organizations</li><li>Assist operational group in meeting safety performance targets</li><li>Conduct safety training, lead meetings and work groups involving various types of workers, ability to adapt with group dynamics and create engaging learning environments.</li></ul>
