This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, industrial, and public infrastructure.As part of a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, you will contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality mechanical building services solutions, working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and fellow engineering professionals. The successful candidate will be technically capable, commercially aware, and committed to delivering sustainable and innovative engineering solutions.What you'll do<ul><li>Design mechanical building services systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), domestic water services, drainage, public health systems, and low-carbon energy solutions.</li><li>Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, technical reports, and design documentation.</li><li>Develop mechanical designs using industry-standard software and BIM platforms.</li><li>Assist in the delivery of projects from concept and feasibility through to detailed design, construction, and handover.</li><li>Coordinate designs with electrical, structural, architectural, and specialist disciplines.</li><li>Attend client, design team, and site meetings as required.</li><li>Ensure designs comply with current regulations, standards, sustainability targets, and industry best practices.</li><li>Identify technical challenges and contribute practical, efficient engineering solutions.</li><li>Support and mentor graduate and junior engineers within the team.</li><li>Deliver work to agreed quality standards, budgets, and project programmes.</li><li>Contribute to the development of sustainable, energy-efficient building services strategies aligned with project and client objectives.</li></ul>
