Job Responsibilities** * Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all DOT, state, and local regulations. * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers, documenting any defects or issues. * Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. * Transport a variety of materials and products, including but not limited to, electrical components, machinery, and raw materials. * Maintain accurate electronic logs and other required documentation, such as delivery receipts and mileage records. * Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and any unforeseen issues. * Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed, utilizing appropriate equipment and safety procedures. * Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including those related to vehicle operation, material handling, and personal protective equipment (PPE). * Perform minor maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure. * Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical failures promptly to management. * Work effectively in a 2nd shift environment, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
