We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Project Engineer to support a climate change adaptation study. The role will contribute to the assessment, planning, and implementation of resilience strategies addressing climate risks such as sea-level rise, extreme rainfall, flooding, and coastal erosion.This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-impact project integrating engineering, sustainability, and climate science in a complex coastal urban environment.Project Delivery &amp; Engineering Support<ul><li>Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of climate adaptation studies and engineering assessments.</li><li>Support development of engineering solutions for coastal protection, drainage improvement, and flood mitigation.</li><li>Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, and design documentation.</li></ul>Climate Risk &amp; Vulnerability Assessment<ul><li>Contribute to climate risk assessments, including analysis of:<ul><li>Sea-level rise projections</li><li>Coastal inundation</li><li>Storm surge impacts</li><li>Extreme weather scenarios</li></ul></li><li>Support modelling exercises (hydrological, hydraulic, or coastal).</li></ul>Data Analysis &amp; Modelling<ul><li>Analyse environmental, geospatial, and engineering data to inform design decisions.</li><li>Work with GIS tools and/or numerical models to evaluate adaptation strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with specialists (e.g., climate scientists, coastal engineers, urban planners).</li></ul>Stakeholder Coordination<ul><li>Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.</li><li>Support preparation of presentations and materials for client discussions and workshops.</li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings.</li></ul>Sustainability &amp; Innovation<ul><li>Identify and assess sustainable, nature-based, and hybrid engineering solutions.</li><li>Integrate climate resilience considerations into infrastructure planning.</li><li>Stay updated on industry best practices for climate adaptation and coastal resilience.</li></ul>
