Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment.</li><li>Provides technical support to customers including troubleshooting and problem resolution.</li><li>Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.</li><li>Provides training of customers’ operators and maintenance personnel.</li><li>Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years hands-on technical experience on electro-mechanical systems as applied to state-of-the-art industrial machinery.</li><li>Slicing and packaging experience preferred.</li><li>Strong electrical aptitude, including motors, AC &amp; servo drives, electrical circuitry, PLC and PC based control systems.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude including power transmission systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.</li><li>Excellent communications skills - must be proficient in English, have strong listening skills and enjoy working with people.</li><li>Able to multi-task and work under extreme pressure</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Must be able to work independently.</li><li>Excellent computer literacy including knowledge of MS Word and Excel.</li><li>Able to travel extensively (up to 90%) including weekends and on short notice.</li><li>Some travel may be for extended periods (up to 3 weeks).</li></ul>The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $37.00 - $46.00 per hour.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position.
