You will manage and nurture relationships with Redwoods members, including independent philanthropic advisors, institutional advisory firms, foundations, family offices, donor-advised funds, and more.&nbsp; This role is highly operational and relationship-driven. You will help operationalize strategy, drive cadence, maintain systems, prep materials, and ensure strong follow-up. This is a core seat on a lean team at a pivotal moment, with the opportunity to help define excellence in climate philanthropy at an organization built to prove it’s possible. Our core metric of success is simple: how much philanthropic capital can we help move to high-impact climate solutions?&nbsp; How you will contribute Advisor Relationship Ownership&nbsp;<ul><li>Own the end-to-end relationship for a portfolio of active Redwoods advisors, currently about 50 relationships, with the goal to 2x volume over time through technology-enabled innovation.</li><li>Set relationship strategy, drive meeting cadence, lead agendas, take high-quality notes, and execute follow-up.</li><li>Surface aligned funding opportunities from the Redwoods solution library.</li><li>Prepare decision-ready materials: pitch decks, memos, portfolio recommendations, board and family-office documents.</li></ul> Maintain Advisor Systems &amp; Capture Insights&nbsp;<ul><li>Maintain strong internal systems and support reporting that ensures our advising work is organized, effective, and trackable. You will: track engagements using our CRM tool (Copper), maintain accurate records, and ensure follow-ups and next steps are consistently executed.</li><li>Capture key takeaways; identify trends, feedback, and recurring questions; and share insights with the team to help continuously improve our services and products.</li><li>Help us improve processes, build templates and tools to automate or scale our work, and drive efficiency.</li></ul> Pipeline Growth and Onboarding<ul><li>Support onboarding of new advisors onto the platform and into 1:1 engagement.</li><li>Partner with the advisor team on top-of-funnel growth as Redwoods' advisor network expands.</li></ul> Special Projects<ul><li>Take on a small number of high-priority projects - think: piloting a new engagement model, supporting our events and trainings, helping scope a partnership opportunity, etc.&nbsp;</li></ul> Required qualifications The ideal candidate is a mid-career philanthropy professional with strong relationship instincts and serious operational and organizational rigor. You are passionate about climate, and you take pride in keeping complex projects moving forward. You are team-centered, curious, data-obsessed, driven, and humble. Qualifications Required Experience and Competencies<ul><li>7-10 years of experience in philanthropy, donor advising, grantmaking, or fundraising.&nbsp;</li><li>Proven ability to manage sophisticated relationships with high EQ, trust, discretion, and follow-through.</li><li>Strong organizational and detail-oriented operator who owns work end to end without things dropping.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communicator.</li><li>Discerning critical thinker.</li><li>U.S. based.</li><li>Willing to work West Coast hours</li></ul> Preferred Experience and Competencies<ul><li>Experience working with UHNW or HNW donors, family philanthropy, or lean institutional foundations.</li><li>Climate experience and fluency, or a clear track record of getting up to speed quickly in new content areas.</li><li>Experience in startup or high-growth environments.</li><li>Interest in project management, systems, AI, and tech tools as a lever for scaling advisory work.</li></ul> What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months<ul><li>Your advisor portfolio has grown in both size and depth, and we are moving measurably more philanthropic dollars than twelve months ago.&nbsp;</li><li>Onboarding of new advisors is faster and smoother than at the start of the year. Time from first engagement with Redwoods to money moving is shortening.&nbsp;</li><li>Advisors consistently describe Redwoods as their most valuable, responsive, and prepared partner.</li><li>Insights this role surfaces are improving our intelligence and offerings.&nbsp;</li></ul> LocationThe preferred location is the San Francisco Bay Area with hybrid in-person work one to two days per week. Open to U.S.-based candidates willing to work Pacific hours. Occasional travel or evening/weekend work for events may be required. Compensation&nbsp;The Redwoods team is employed by ClimateWorks Foundation, Redwoods’ fiscal sponsor. We offer an excellent benefits package.
