We offer interesting and challenging tasks, a positive working environment in international teams, and opportunities for personal development and growth in a global company. ​Responsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Analyze customer technical and application requirements</li><li>Develop customized technical solutions aligned with the company product portfolio</li><li>Define technical offers and layouts in collaboration with Sales, Quotation team, and all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Technology, Engineering, etc.)</li><li>Ensure project effectiveness in terms of cost, timing, and technical content</li><li>Perform preliminary feasibility studies aimed at standardization and modularization already during the bidding phase, proposing improvements and cost reduction activities (value engineering)</li><li>Define system layouts and configurations</li><li>Support Sales team in the preparation of technical offers and documentation</li><li>Prepare and maintain technical documentation (schematics, application descriptions, specifications)</li><li>Manage technical requests (RFQ) and customer clarifications</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement of technical solutions and standards</li><li>Participate in customer meetings for offer definition</li><li>Participate in internal kick-off meetings and manage Post-RAC activities within the engineering team</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsRequirements<ul><li>Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automation or equivalent)</li><li>2–5 years of experience in a similar role (Application Engineering, Proposal Engineering, Technical Sales)</li><li>Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings</li><li>Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Creo3D modelling or equivalent)</li><li>Basic knowledge of plant layouts or industrial machinery</li><li>Good knowledge of English</li></ul>Key Skills<ul><li>Analytical and solution-oriented mindset</li><li>Ability to balance and integrate technical and commercial requirements</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, targets, and KPIs</li><li>Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams</li><li>Ability to manage tasks and priorities autonomously</li></ul><div>The position falls under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with job classification and level to be defined based on the candidate’s experience and skills. </div><div>The indicative gross annual salary range for this role is between €30,000 and €40,000, depending on experience, technical expertise, level of autonomy, and market alignment. </div><div>The overall compensation package may also include variable components and additional company benefits, which will be discussed during the selection process. </div><div>GEA is proudly certified as a Top Employer, confirming our commitment to employee well-being, development, and empowerment.  </div><div>Ready to engineer a better world with us?
