O&M Supervisor – Power Generation operations and maintenance

As an O&M Supervisor, you will focus on these responsibilities:
•    Plan, lead, and supervise daily operation and maintenance activities at the power plant to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality and time targets, ensuring maintenance and operational reliability and availability of the plant according to the agreement. •    Management of Plant performance indices.
•    Development of competent operations and maintenance resources.
•    Promote high performance and zero injury culture.
•    Operations and maintenance annual plan.
•    Responsible for all activities relating to the daily operations & maintenance supervision of the power plant inclusive of planning and implementation of plant operations & maintenance.
•    Communicate effectively with the O&M crew relative to the condition of the plant equipment and performance and provide suggestions for improvements.
•    People Administration as per Wärtsilä guidelines focused on maintaining a skilled and motivated O&M Crew to assure good teamwork and living our Wärtsilä values.
•    Responsible for implementation of plant safety policy and QEHS procedures according to the assigned plan.
•    Establish and implement standard operation and maintenance policies and procedures in accordance with Wärtsilä standards.
•    Prepare reports, plans, and budgets as instructed by the Line Manager, Plant Manager, and/or Agreement Manager.
•    Identify and actively seek to improve maintenance and operational reliability and availability.

Interaction: With relevant Wärtsilä offices and personnel:
•    Approve the planning of the maintenance program in line with operational requirements.
•    Fulfil all contractual and legal requirements applied to the assigned power plant.

Development Responsibilities:
•    Development and improvement of the Operation & Maintenance plan and all resources. •    Develop and maintain the operations & maintenance working routines at the power plant.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
•    5 – 10 years of experience in operating and maintaining a power generation facility or similar.
