MUST BE CT LICENSED ELECTRICIAN!!!
Maintains, installs, and troubleshoots all aspects of electrical power & control wiring in both commercial & residential. Operates, inspects, and maintains all electrical equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy. Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in the electrical field while also maintaining basic knowledge of all other trades to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.
What is your day to day?
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
Interact with clients and maintenance staff to determine the best approach to completion of assignments in a safe, environmentally compliant manner.
Safely use a large variety of hand and shop power tools.
Perform all incidental /associated work required to complete the job assignment.
Work with minimal supervision and proactively communicate with manager.
Maintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient, and clean operating condition.
Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
Assist in performing other duties, including work of other trades as required.
Desired experience and technical skills
CT Electrician License is required
High school diploma or state equivalent required
A minimum of 4 years of electrical trade school or training equivalent, with 5+ years of electrical work experience.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes.
Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
Good verbal and written communications skills are required
Skilled and physically able to operate hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift, and carry heavy loads, operate required equipment, and operate a motor vehicle.
