Responsibilities / Tasks
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Prepares accurate and on-time delivery of drawings and bills of material to internal and external customers as required for the execution of orders for Custom Engineered Systems.
Ensures that documentation adheres to requirements and is dimensionally/pictorially complete and accurate.
Enhances knowledge of departmental methods, products, and drafting/CAD skills through assignments and training.
Submits ideas to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase productivity.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Profile / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education: High School graduate and/or Technical School graduate or equivalent.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of two years of experience.
Minimum Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, customer oriented, self-motivated, ability to multitask, ability to thrive in a time-line driven environment.
The qualifications for Drafter roles vary by level. A Drafter II requires a high school or technical school education, and two years of computer-aided drafting (CAD) experience. For a Drafter III position, candidates must have the same education background along with five years of CAD experience.
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $26.38 - 35.18 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
