What's on the menu?
As our new Backend Developer, you'll be a key contributor to our engineering team, playing a vital role in building and maintaining the robust and scalable systems that power our business.

This role is about more than just writing code—it's about being an innovative problem-solver who contributes to the technical excellence of our Orbi. You'll have two key priorities: delivering high-quality software solutions while actively participating in the technical direction and growth of our engineering team.

You'll work closely with other engineers to understand and collaborate on architecture decisions, ensuring that our systems are designed for scalability, maintainability, and performance. You'll join projects as a core individual contributor, planning and executing projects that involve multiple developers. You'll also collaborate closely with other teams, including product, design, and operations, to translate business requirements into elegant and effective technical solutions.

Beyond coding, you'll be an active participant in our engineering culture. You'll contribute to cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with other tech teams to solve complex challenges and drive innovation across the company.

The key ingredients for success: 

• Proven experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment.

• Demonstrated experience contributing to RFCs/PRDs/Design Documents and project planning.

• You have around 3+ years of relevant technical experience.

• You are fluent in at least one higher level language, preferably Go or Python.

• You have a good understanding of relational databases.
