Job Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support the supply chain process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely delivery.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflows.
  • Process shipping and receiving documentation in the warehouse management system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
  • Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or issues.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse operations are a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, and professional in SAP/Excel are a plus.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including Overtime if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tracking software.

Work Environment:

  • This position requires standing, walking, lifting, and handling warehouse materials.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy.
