You Will:
- Define all electrical functional test cases and specifications for PCBA and link them to system requirements
- Lead the prototyping, testing, debugging, and verification of BMS components
- Develop and execute Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) for battery management system hardware
- Serve as the test engineering lead throughout project implementation, ensuring alignment with department management and the project manager
- Utilize Vector CANalyzer and CANoe to analyze, debug, and validate communication between power electronics components
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations for BMS, collaborating with design, firmware, mechanical and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in testing and validation of BMS, DC-DC converters, or other electronics
- Proficient in debugging and validation of MCU, OpAmp, AD/DA, etc.
- Highly organized professional with the ability to maintain project schedules and track status to ensure timely completion and efficiency
- Experience in the definition of validation strategies across various integration level
- The capability to scientifically analyze verification results and define R&D activities
- Good Hands-on experience for hardware test and validation
- Familiar with various equipment (Oscilloscope, probe, multimeter, hi-pot tester, etc.)
Advantageous:
- Master’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering with 3-year experience
- Knowledge of automotive standards ( ISO 19453, ISO 21498, LV124, GMW 3172, etc.)
- Proficiency in ISO SPI, Automotive Ethernet, CAN FD, and LIN communication protocols.
- Knowledge of battery management algorithms, SOC/SOH estimation, cell balancing, and fault detection.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
