Summary:
The Project Manager – Services role, will lead and manage assigned utility scale Renewable Energy facilities, which may include Battery Storage, Solar and Wind. This position will oversee field activity, interact with owners’ representatives, technicians, intercompany departments, regulatory agencies and others as needed, to successfully operate multiple utility scale renewable facilities. This position’s responsibilities include interacting with and mentoring on-site personnel, managing activities for both corrective, and preventative maintenance of equipment, system testing, troubleshooting and monitoring the quality and safety of contractors or employees, performing any work required on-site.
Requirements:
- Manages day to day operation of assigned renewable energy assets.
- Manages Owner relationship.
- Manage and comply with contractual obligations including Owners and Vendors.
- Investigates outside vendors to partner with RES in future projects.
- Coordinates with facility Owners and Operators to plan for facility success.
- Coordinates with Operations Control Center.
- Manages work order ticket system.
- Supports fault finding and investigation into equipment failures and under performance of assigned assets.
- Writes facility specific and departmental O&M plans and procedures.
- Maintains familiarity with OSHA, NERC, ERCOT, TRE, NFPA, and other industry groups.
- Produce operational reports, both internal and client.
- Assists facility manager as needed for on call support.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
- When required, assists with site data collection.
- Provides technical support to site operations.
- Uses tools for reliability and performance analysis.
- Manages reliability improvement with site and service personnel.
- Works with various teams to analyze data, production, budgets, finances and forecasting.
- Leads and follows safety and security procedures, takes appropriate action when needed.
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions while protecting employees and equipment.
- Uses materials and equipment properly.
- Performs any other duties as assigned.
Safety:
- Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action.
- Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working.
- Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
- Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.
- Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
- Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.
Leadership:
- Fosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation, and exceeding expectations.
- Manages one or more direct reports.
- Participates in hiring and selection process to fill positions on the team.
- Communicates regularly with direct reports on goals, accomplishments, and information on policies.

Qualifications:
- High school/GED General Education required.
- Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering or Business Management preferred.
- 5+ years Related managerial/people leader experience required.
- 3+ years Supervisory OR analytics of renewable energy assets (Wind, Solar, Energy Storage) preferred.
- Experience with utility scale facility management.
- Strong management background.
- Field Electrical experience in utility grade facilities a plus.
- Experience with Energy Storage a plus.
- Intermediate Excel and Office suite skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to represent RES professionally in all aspects.
- Ability to work effectively with other groups within RES.
- Self-motivated and the ability to interface in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Basic electrical (low voltage) and switching (high voltage) knowledge and skills a plus.
- Occasionally respond to emergency operational issues, out of regular working hours.
- Must be eligible for corporate vehicle insurance coverage
- Functional competencies include teamwork, customer focus, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail.
- Domestic and International travel 16-30% required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
Anticipated base salary range: $89,000 - $105,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.

Constantly: Reading, Grasping, Hearing, Reaching, Vision, Repetitive Motion, and Sitting is required.
Occasionally exposed to Extreme Cold, Extreme Heat, humidity, Wet, Noise, Hazards, and Vibration in the work environment.
