We are currently seeking a Material Planner, Vehicle Integration.  This position requires an experienced professional with material planning experience. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

 

The Role:

  • Manage and Forecast Engineering Builds in relation to testing bucks and Vin retrofits.
  • Be able to manage manual forecasts and track upcoming builds.
  • Manage material demand as mapped to different vehicle configurations
  • Coordinate material delivery to Prototype technicians with stock room/warehouse, logistics, etc.
  • Report and coordinate material availability and delivery with supply chain and logistics for future VINs
  • Be able to identify parts by Build Level by using BOMs and CATIA for each repair need and guide techs on needed parts
  • Work with Suppliers and Global Supply Managers on past due PO’s, Push Outs and Pull ins
  • Review old stock for obsolete material and scrap opportunities
  • Maintain Safety Stock levels on Frequently Used Parts for repair and testing needs

 

Qualifications:

  • BOM experience
  • Material Planning experience
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office (or similar) tools, strong Excel is a must
  • Experience working closely with engineering, supply chain and manufacturing

 

Advantageous:

  • Experience working with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools
  • Smartsheet, JIRA, SAP, CATIA
  • Experience in Start Up Planning/Procurement is a strong plus
  • Automotive Planning/Procurement experience
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
 
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$81,600$112,200 USD
