This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record of excellent customer service and protection of people and property. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.</p><p>The Role:</p><p>· Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Manager as needed with training, scheduling, shift/site oversight, special projects, etc.</p><p>· Provides an elevated level of professionalism, responsibility, attention to detail at all times.</p><p>· Displays excellent customer service skills with all employees, visitors, and guests.</p><p>· Through visibility and presence, acts as a crime deterrent while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.</p><p>· Responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors in a professional manner.</p><p>· Ability to professionally interact with disorderly or disruptive people.</p><p>· Responds to emergency situations as needed.</p><p>· Maintains a secure environment by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and reviewing access points.</p><p>· Follows all company policies, procedures and instructions regarding the safety and security of all employees and guests as set forth by the Department Head.</p><p>· Utilizes computer software for guest registry, communication, report writing, building access and video surveillance systems.</p><p>· Remains in compliance with all federal, CA state and local regulations regarding security officer certification and First Aid/CPR/AED requirements.</p><p>· Masters the use of emergency equipment, including knowing its location, proper deployment and use.</p><p>· Assists in coordinating facility operations response to safety hazard identification and removal.</p><p>· Adaptable with a strong attention to detail.</p><p>· Displays the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.</p><p>· As directed, conducts security bag checks and vehicle checks to prevent theft of property and the introduction of banned items.</p><p>· Provides security and personal protection of employees and visitors as needed during special events.</p><p>· Follows procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, assigned property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations.</p><p>· Notifies supervisors and on-site staff of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches and/or safety hazards.</p><p>· Reports any and all malfunctioning security equipment.</p><p>· Reports any facility issues such as fire hazards, broken windows / doors, leaking pipes, etc. to the respective partner team.</p><p>· Summons first responder personnel as appropriate for high risk and emergency situations.</p><p>· Maintains confidentiality of company and employee information.</p><p>· Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary.</p><p> </p><p>You Bring:</p><p>· High degree of care and awareness to prevent physical injuries</p><p>· Emotional control, consistent professionalism, and dependability</p><p>· See differences between colors, shades, and brightness</p><p>· Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time</p><p>· Ability to lift 40 lbs.</p><p>· Ability to carry out foot patrols within interior and exterior parameters</p><p>· Ability to pass a drug screen and background check</p><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
