We’re looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in our Commercial division at Aggreko. This is a prominent role which will involve working with multiple senior stakeholders to report and provide insight on business performance.  The FP&A manager will report to the Head of Finance.

As a FP&A manager you will be responsible for the delivery of monthly results and the planning activities of Commercial function. You will contribute to the accurate financial reporting and controls and build on the current procedures in place to ensure valuable Management reporting.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead planning activities in Commercial and manage the planning cycle including the annual budget cycle, 5 year plan and quarterly forecast consisting of issuing clear guidelines, deliverables and timeline. Ultimately providing clear management information with insights and recommendations which meet the decisions needs of the Head of Finance and Commercial Director.
  • Deliver the management reporting in Commercial. Ensuring clear requirements and output, delivering right first-time reporting with insight into future performance through monitoring and reporting of regional risks and opportunities. Leading on the standardisation and simplification of reporting to develop a best-in-class month end process.
  • Provide analytical insight into a broad range of financial and commercial issues to support decision making.  Present critical financial and operational information and develop forward looking analysis. Work with business stakeholders in Commercial to investigate and identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings and working capital improvement.
  • Provide governance and control over the financials for all departments within the Commercial function.
  • Support ad hoc projects. Manage and deliver ad hoc financial support to business stakeholders as required.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ICAEW/CIMA/ICAS)
  • FP&A experience is preferred
  • Good technical and accounting knowledge
  • Ability to analyse and challenge data
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • A proactive and can-do attitude
  • Experience of M3 Cloudsuite, Tagetik and Basware would be advantageous
