We are currently seeking a Staff Network Engineer/Architect at our HQ offices in Newark, CA. This position requires an experienced professional with advanced skills in Campus and Datacenter Networks, Wireless and Network Security. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. 

You Will:  

  • Operate as a technical expert on infrastructure projects pertaining to Network Infrastructure. 
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network technologies such as wireless, route, switch, load balancers and firewalls. 
  • Continually analyze and work to improve quality of services offered by IT. 
  • Participate in ongoing technology evaluations and keep up with technology trends and industry standards. 
  • Spearhead initiatives based on technology, best practices, or changing requirements to enhance network efficiency, reduce downtime and support scalability. 
  • Provide advanced training and mentorship to Offshore IT support teams. 
  • Participate in on-call rotation to maintain network integrity and reliability. 
  • This is a on-site position. 

You Bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Information Technology/Computer Science. 
  • 8 years’ experience in managing Campus and Datacenter Networks, Network Security, Internet Connectivity/Infrastructure and Load-balancing technologies. 
  • 8+ years implementing  and supporting Wi-Fi solutions for the campus and multiple sites with access layer security such as Cisco ISE. 
  • 8+ years’ experience and awareness of perimeter security solutions like Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN solutions from OEMs like Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, etc. 
  • 5+ years’ experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, Meraki 
  • Strong understanding of the following technologies: Networking Protocols/Services like BGP, OSPF, IPSec, GRE, HSRP/VRRP, NAT/PAT, SNMP, QoS, STP, RSTP, .1Q, Port-Channel, SPAN, VLAN, VTP, 10GigE, GigE, GTM , LTM, DNS, and Application Firewalls. 
  • Familiarity with support tools such as Visio, Lucid chart, Jira, Service-NOW, Confluence, Grafana, Big panda.
  • Preferred Qualifications:  AWS, F5, Palo Alto, SD-WAN
