Successful candidates will have strong proven experience in project management and logistics for a range of commodities and finished goods. This role requires someone who has a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations, particularly dangerous goods (DG), and developing and executing logistics plans to support operational needs. Additionally, this role requires experience managing dynamic projects from conception to completion.Responsibilities Will Include:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Supervise a team of employees responsible for international and domestic shipments, claims, and transportation reporting.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Champion continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture that encourages creativity, collaboration, and positive change.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Cultivate an engaging and enjoyable work environment by promoting appreciation, recognition, and positive reinforcement.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Implement a comprehensive cross-training program, expanding the team’s skillset and allowing them to support various functions within the department.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Foster a culture of growth by continually developing your team and challenging them with new responsibilities.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Aid in the development of logistics KPI’s and metrics to drive cost management, capacity management, and vendor management.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Establish, maintain, and analyze transportation metrics, supporting warehousing, trucking, domestic and international shipping, and freight payables, prepare metrics for executive presentations.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Partner with transportation operations, supply chain sourcing, accounting and various stakeholders across multiple business units to provide cross functional support and drive logistics process improvements.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Assist to identify gaps in efficiency and implement countermeasures to enhance operational performance.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Actively manage and oversea the implementation of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to defined goals.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ensure all operational processes are documented and are in accordance with our current standards.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and guide teams effectively.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but not required.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experiencing managing projects, including planning and execution.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong analytical skills with the ability to input, retrieve, and interpret data effectively.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Proficiency in computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating dynamic spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!  </li></ul><div>The position is full-time.
