Quality & Materials Specialist

We offer a role as Quality & Material Specialist, who will be based in Aliaxis Casella (GE) and will report to the Plant Quality & Material Manager.

The candidate will verify that products have been manufactured in accordance with internal and external standards, in compliance with current regulations and customer specifications, especially focused on raw materials. This figure will also be responsible for assessing the characteristics and properties of raw materials used in the Plant, before and after processing.

The Key Responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

• QC of raw material before and after processing following the tech specs
• Lab activities related to material qualification, following the trials in processing
• Mechanical and functional tests to verify part compliance, with reference to the requirements of the quality control sheet
• Record of tests and trials within the drafting of reports.
• Data processing and evaluation of the collected results
• Tools Management and calibration under the ISO 9001 standard
• NC draft using the most common tools to guarantee continuous quality improvement (i.e., FMEA, RCA, 8D, etc.)
• Contribution to the development of written procedure and technical instructions for critical activities in the field of raw materials and QA

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

• Technical degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering
• Experience in a similar role related to material and product quality control
• Trained in QC system
• Experience in lab activities in the fields of plastic materials characterization
• Fluent in English
• Able into the problem-solving approach
• Familiarity with office automation
