Responsibilities:
- Drives operational excellence by leading initiatives that streamline production processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial performance.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvements through workflow analysis, focusing on cost reduction, process optimization, and increased profitability.
- Develops and oversees manufacturing plans and production schedules that balance resource allocation, minimize overhead, and meet output targets.
- Maintains high standards for quality, safety, and vendor performance by enforcing compliance protocols and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Optimizes labor management by adjusting staffing strategies to control costs while ensuring production goals and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 3 years in a plant management or senior supervisory role.
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements, cost reductions, and productivity gains through strategic planning and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and build a culture of accountability.
- Solid understanding of quality assurance, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in manufacturing systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
