Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Sales Project Engineer for its Athens, Greece location. As a Sales Project Engineer you will be responsible for the preparation of offers, competitive bids and quotations for the Hitachi Energy Products. You will work closely with our internal teams in order to ensure that we offer the best solutions to meet our customers’ needs, in accordance with company policies, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements and financial targets. Additionally, you will be responsible for order handling and close communication with the customers during the complete order execution, managing changes and taking calculated risks, always in line with company’s policies.
Your responsibilities:
Prepare offers for Hitachi Energy product portfolio, having the responsibility for the completeness, quality and timely submission of the offers and managing all the aspects of the offer, including technical and financial/commercial aspects.
Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customers’ needs and align to provide a solution, creating added value and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process and order execution stage.
Develop comprehensive know-how on product applications and technical specifications, conduct thorough market reviews to identify trends, opportunities, threats and analyze competitive products.
Support project management activities and be responsible for the whole process along the order registration, execution and up to delivery and invoicing.
Identify and drive new market opportunities and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
Your background:
University Degree in Electrical Engineering
At least 2 years of experience in Electrical/Industrial Equipment Sales
Excellent command of English language
Strong computer literacy (MS Office)
Strong communication skills
Preferable knowledge of SAP
Problem solving oriented
Analytical and Organizational skills
Sense of responsibility & reliability
