Join our Global Sales Department as Tender Manager for Energy from Waste, Bioenergy, and Carbon Capture with special focus on Germany and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.

 

Your new role

As our new Tender Manager, you will be part of our global Sales Competence Team which supports our experts and project managers in the development of proposals. Your location is preferably in our office in Hamburg. Alternatively in one of our other Ramboll offices in Germany or Copenhagen, Denmark. You will work with colleagues from all over the world, but primarily be focused on tender management for German clients. With a growing energy market, you will help us growing our business in the energy sector.

 

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Working as part of the global Sales team to engage with internal stakeholders and with clients while preparing our proposals.
  • Managing and leading proposals through our stage gate approval and compliance process.
  • Overseeing the preparation of commercial and technical inputs to proposals, leveraging from existing material and seeking opportunities for innovation
  • Coordinating with colleagues in the technical disciplines to prepare our tenders
  • Maintaining our Customer Relation Management system and support our key account managers.
  • Be part of our global Sales Competence Team and proactively develop and innovate our sales and business development processes and activities

 

Your new team

You will be part of our Energy from Waste, Bioenergy, and Carbon Capture Global Service Line team which is recognized as the leading consultant in this field of business. We provide consulting engineering and design services out of offices in Germany, Denmark, UK, Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, Poland, and India. We represent a truly international and dynamic environment and undertake projects worldwide. We deliver projects within energy recovery from waste and biomass (combustion and other thermal treatment technologies), generation of biogas, waste sorting, carbon capture etc. As Tender Manager, you will be part of our daily activities, be part of our Sales Competence Team with Sales & Business Development related tasks and be an integrated part of our complete technical team.

 

About you

These include:

  • You have an engineering degree or a similar education and demonstrated working experience, ideally you bring experience in project execution of energy infrastructure projects
  • You want to bridge the gap between technical disciplines and sales
  • You are good in, and like, writing proposals and care for the details
  • You are customer-oriented and are characterised by a self-reliant attitude, reliable, and structured by your way of working
  • You are fluent German speaking and writing and have a professional ability to express yourself verbally and in written form in English.
  • You are a team player with strong project management skills who is expected to work with limited supervision.
  • You have previous relevant experience in proposal and bid management, preferably in the energy sector, evidence of working within a large engineering consultancy will be highly regarded, but not a requirement.
