As an Associate on the Investment Grade team covering utilities and power you will:<ul><li>Provide analytical and project support for all investment related activities for the Utility sector, including new issues, secondary and portfolio monitoring</li><li>Be responsible for modeling, quantitative financial analysis, financial and business due diligence, quarterly reporting, and understanding/monitoring for individual investments</li><li>Develop investment committee memoranda and materials with senior team members</li><li>Source potential investment opportunities with exploratory research and perform analytics on potential opportunities</li><li>Assist the team with additional ad hoc projects including but not limited to portfolio monitoring, reporting and investor requests</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>4+ years of relevant work experience, including at least two years in investment banking or capital markets experience covering utilities, power and/or energy. M&amp;A, Restructuring, Equity Research and/or Leveraged Finance experience strongly preferred  </li><li>Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution with a record of academic achievement</li><li>Strong interest in credit investing, with an interest to focus on various sub-strategies including Performing and Private Credit.</li><li>Strong modelling, analytical, valuation, and problem-solving skills</li><li>A critical thinker with strong quantitative and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications</li><li>A collaborative thinker who can also work independently, multitask and prioritize</li><li>A proactive and organized self-starter with a positive attitude, powerful work ethic, strong attention to detail and experience and comfort in Excel</li></ul>Pay Range$175,000 - $200,000Apollo Global Management, Inc.
