Competitive compensation package of minimum $60,000 - Maximum $75,000
     
    Benefits include:

    The Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating outreach initiatives that promote Transdev's public visibility, partnerships, and service accessibility within the community. This role will help create awareness of Transdev’s transportation services and build strong local relationships that drive engagement, equity, and trust in our mission.
    This position requires a proactive, professional, and personable communicator who thrives on building relationships and working with diverse community members and partner agencies.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintain a calendar of outreach activities including community events, workshops, and engagement opportunities.
    • Represent Transdev at community events and conduct outreach presentations.
    • Schedule and lead educational sessions on public transportation services, programs, and safety.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with nonprofit organizations, local agencies, and other stakeholders.
    • Collect and track community feedback and engagement metrics.
    • Assist with the preparation and tracking of the outreach program budget.
    • Support community events by organizing materials, volunteers, and logistics.
    • Promote awareness and understanding of Transdev’s services among underserved populations.
    • Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and participation in outreach efforts.
    • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Safety departments for internal and external engagement opportunities.
    • Complete reports and summaries on outreach effectiveness and participation.
    • Rider education on RTC policies/procedures and paratransit rules and regulations.
    • Assistance with customer complaints.
    • Assists in identifying riders using paratransit that may be better served utilizing the fixed-route or other means of transportation.
    • Other duties as required.
      Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Social Work, or a related field required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
      Experience Required:
      • Minimum 2–5 years of related experience in community outreach, engagement, public service, or nonprofit initiatives.
      • Demonstrated experience in relationship-building and public speaking.
      • Experience with coordinating public events or group meetings.
      Skills and Knowledge Required:
      • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and outreach tracking tools.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
      • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse populations.
      • Understanding of local community dynamics and resources.
      • Must be organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks.
      Physical Requirements:
      The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
      • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); walk frequently.
      • Occasionally lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
      • Work both in office settings and in various community environments (indoor/outdoor).
      • May require occasional evening or weekend hours for community events.
