About the Job

Come Supercharge the Electrification of Commercial Fleets with Synop!

We’re looking for passionate, driven, ownership-minded problem-solvers to help us build products that put commercial electric vehicles (EVs) in a position to succeed. If you're motivated by meaningful work and want to make a direct impact on the electric future, we’d love to meet you.

About Synop

Synop is building the platform that powers the future of commercial electrification. Founded in 2021, we've quickly become one of the leading commercial EV platforms, helping commercial fleets scale their operations efficiently and sustainably.

We work with fleets, utilities, aggregators, and operators to deliver reliable, cost-optimized solutions across charging, energy management, fleet services, and billing — ensuring that the electric transition is not just possible, but profitable.

Our remote-first team is small, sharp, and mission-driven. We value clarity, pragmatism, and people who take ownership across boundaries.

What You'll Be Doing

Shape the Product Vision and Roadmap

  • Own and evolve the product strategy for Synop’s enterprise-grade energy and fleet management solutions.

  • Work closely with the Director of Product to build and maintain detailed roadmaps, ensuring strong alignment with customer needs and company goals.

  • Engage directly with commercial fleets, utilities, and energy providers to deeply understand customer challenges.

  • Prioritize empathy and insight gathering to ensure every product decision is anchored in real-world needs.

Define and Deliver with Precision

  • Translate complex business, technical, and operational challenges into actionable product requirements, user journeys, and feature specs that guide engineering execution.

  • Contribute to system architecture discussions and help evaluate tradeoffs in implementation decisions — acting as a bridge between customer needs and technical feasibility.

  • Actively prototype solutions using modern AI tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, Figma, Postman) to validate concepts, de-risk assumptions, and accelerate product experimentation.

  • Drive the cycle planning and delivery process, ensuring high-quality and timely execution in collaboration with engineering and design teams.

Drive Go-to-Market Success

  • Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to craft messaging, training, and launch materials that empower our teams and customers.

  • Play an active role in planning product launches and evangelizing product value both internally and externally.

  • Act as a product evangelist internally and externally — from enabling sales teams with strategic context to representing the product in customer briefings, webinars, and industry events.

Monitor Success and Iterate

  • Define and track key product KPIs such as adoption, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Use data and feedback loops to drive continuous iteration and improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related).

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or energy sectors.

  • Strong attention to detail — you bring precision and thoroughness to planning, communication, and execution.

  • Deep customer empathy — you genuinely care about understanding users and making their lives better.

  • Proven success delivering enterprise-grade, highly scalable software products.

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a small, high-performing team.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with fleet electrification, distributed energy resources (DERs), grid operations, or energy markets.

  • Experience leveraging AI-driven tools (e.g., for customer insights, product analytics, content generation, or workflow optimization) to enhance product development and decision-making.

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
