About the Job
Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking
and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the
warehouse and cold room, and keeping the work environment clean and orderly. May also be required to assist
in kit assembly with labeling and assembling of medical diagnostic reagent kits to meet customer demands.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Assist shipping and receiving (verifying incoming shipments & RMA’s)
- Help manage cold storage materials by keeping refrigerators organized and reagent kits properly stored.
- Prepare ship docs and work orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items into proper locations according to organizational standards
- Open and tear down crates, pallets, and other containers as needed.
- Maintain inventory controls by assisting in the counting of physical inventory.
- Assist in the kitting department by assembling kits in a timely manner.
- Data entry
- Responsible for assembling preventive maintenance kits.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations organized.
- Wear the proper safety equipment
