About the Job

Are you passionate about IT projects and project management and want to grow your career as Project Manager operating in a worldwide operating leading technology company as GEA?

GEA is continuously adapting its IT landscape including the related processes and tools. As a result, we always have many simultaneously running projects. These projects are related to both business applications as well as the underlying infrastructure.

At this moment we are looking for an experienced Project Manager for our IT infrastructure projects. We have several global infra structure projects running.
GEA’s Service Delivery Project Management team offers an exciting challenge with high impact and great colleagues.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As an IT Project Manager within the Service Delivery Project Management team, you will contribute to deliver projects within time, budget and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • Effective execution, coordination, and organization of multiple IT projects.

  • Develop, refine, and manage project plans to ensure on time and on budget delivery.

  • Arrange and manage the right resources required for the project within GEA IT organization and, depending on the project, also resources from external IT service providers.

  • Proper reporting of project status to the project boards, service delivery management, to the service owner(s) and to other stakeholders.

  • Identify and manage risks to ensure successful delivery.

  • Keep track on pending issues and escalate where necessary.

  • Change management activities that are related to the project deliverables.

  • Excellent, timely and effective communication about the project to all stakeholders.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • We expect you to have proven experiences (5 – 10 years) in IT project management.

  • Profound knowledge of IT infrastructure components (knowledge of network zoning preferred).

  • Master’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Experience with project management frameworks, particularly Prince 2 (certification preferred).

  • Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban (certification preferred).

  • Experience in managing complex global programs with large multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proven ability to manage an international team of experts.

  • As this role is in an international environment, English language skills are a must. Both verbally as in writing. When you master any other languages that is considered a plus.

  • In addition, being a strong communicator, you will preferably regard yourself as a passionate person who is always willing to cooperate not thinking about problems but about their solutions.

Our offer to you:

You will be part of a team operating in a friendly and informal ambiance. You can expect a high investment in the team and mandate to influence and change the future of GEA. You will also have the opportunity to engage with the organization globally and will be exposed to senior stakeholders.

  • Competitive salary + 8% holiday allowance.

  • Company car or Travel allowance.

  • 27 holidays + 13 ADV days based on full-time.

  • Participation in pension fund (PME).

  • Home working allowance if applicable.

  • Possibility of collective health insurance.
