Southern Program Alliance based on the Frankston line is one of five alliances responsible for removing 110 of Melbourne’s most dangerous and congested level crossings by 2025 as part of Victoria’s Big Build transport infrastructure program.

The Opportunity:

The Surveyor will contribute to the Engineering team objectives in accordance with the specific project scope and milestones.  You will provide effective set out and survey for the project and ensure that all works conform to the Project Drawings, Specifications and Australian Standards as directed by the Package Survey Lead and/or Alliance Survey Manager.

Key accountabilities:

• Correctly interpret specifications, plans and digital models
• Establish the project set out and update records to reflect the contract requirements
• Participate in preparing re-designs as required
• Develop current knowledge of the latest plant, equipment, materials, and construction techniques
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolve problems
• Provide Asbuilt/monitoring reports to nominated document management portal

• Ideally Tertiary Qualification in relevant discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project surveyor within the construction/infrastructure environment
• Working knowledge of 12D (Model, Field and Synergy)
• Intermediate Microsoft Suite (specifically Excel)
• Demonstrated understanding of point cloud capture, registration and extraction or a willingness to learn
