Overview of Role:

The position lies within Data & Analytics (D&A), which is responsible for the dissemination, packaging and sales of wholesale market data derived from TP ICAP broking activities to the financial community, including information vendors, specialist suppliers, and investment banks.

The Sales Operations Analyst reports to the Sales Operations Team Leader. The Sales Operations team provides a single point of contact for the Sales Team, providing multiple services to support the D&A Sales and Channel Management strategies. The Analyst functions as an on-demand, resource for the D&A Global Sales and Channel Management Teams, enabling them to be more effective revenue generators.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute permissioning requests at major market data vendors (Bloomberg and Refinitiv) using proprietary applications.
  • Provide market coverage checks (both current and historical) for all data streams commercialized by TP ICAP D&A (Paremeta Solutions).
  • Support tools used for market coverage checks.
  • Mine information from alternate data sources to generate prospect leads.
  • Provide operational orientation for new sales staff, including introductions to operational teams and resources.
  • Compile reports on data trials, inhibits, and permissions for Sales and Channel Management.
  • Escalate and/or resolve operational issues encountered by Sales, Channel, and Client Success Management teams.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Operations Manager

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in market data operations, particularly with Bloomberg and Refinitiv platforms.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work in permanent US hours.
  • Flexibility to rotate to other shifts, including APAC and EMEA, as business needs arise.
  • Flexibility to work on Philippines holidays and occasional overtime.
  • Proficiency in technical script writing is advantageous (SQL, Snowflake, Thoughspot).
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
