Summary: 
The primary focus is to manage complex technical projects from feasibility through closure. This position will liaise between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements, deliverables, schedules, budgets, expectations, and quality are defined and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.

This role will be hybrid requiring 3 days in office and 2 days working from home.
 
Requirements:     
  • Manages three to five projects at a time through feasibility, planning, implementation, and closure.
  • Supports high-performing global teams for Executive Business Sponsors.
  • Develops tailored project artifacts to manage scope, schedule, budget, and expectations.
  • Fosters a collaborative matrixed team environment that promotes high performance.
  • Addresses individual or group conflicts, internal or external to the project team as they may arise.
  • Works with project teams to identify resource constraints and ensure workload is sustainable.
  • Determines if external consultants or contractors are required to complete the project deliverables. If needed, engage, and manage appropriate staffing resources in line with budget estimates.
  • Mitigates risk and problem-solve to address issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Controls project boundaries through the change management process.
  • Ensures all deliverables or changes transition to steady-state support teams before project closure.
  • Ensures all project documentation is safely archived following project completion.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to management to enable continuous improvement.
  • Promotes and champions the project manager role and discipline throughout the organization.
  • Provides leadership and technical guidance for the IT Project Management team, including teaching, assisting, and developing the department's co-workers' skills.
  • Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. 
  • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
  • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Engage on projects already well underway and manage their completion and close-out.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required.
  • PMP certification required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing moderately complex projects required.
  • Ability to travel 5 to 15% domestically and internationally required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Possesses strong experience using a waterfall methodology to manage MS Project schedules.
  • A tactical understanding of Project Management Frameworks (PMBOK, ITIL).
  • An established approach to managing project scope, schedule, budget, and expectations.
  • Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to quickly prioritize while managing parallel projects.
  • Ability to identify pattern relationships among related technologies.
  • Ability to approach problems holistically, considering impact and risk to all involved stakeholders, when proposing a solution.
  • A strong understanding of stakeholders, risk, issues, change, and quality management.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills with the experience to demonstrate the ability to build strong business partner relationships.
  • Natural ability to communicate complex issues to non-specialists, manage through influence, get things done with and through people in a direct, fair, success-oriented way.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to deal with sensitive, confidential, and urgent issues.
  • Knowledge of Cloud-based technologies and an understanding of basic IT architectural principles.
  • Functional competencies include attention to detail, accountability, communication, business acumen, and teamwork.
Anticipated base salary range:  $115,000 - $133,000
 
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.

Rarely: Climbing, crouching, kneeling, pulling/pushing/lifting between 5-15lbs., and stooping are required.
