Process Operator

Join XYLEM as a Process Operator where you will perform a series of operations or tasks within the shop floor. Be a part of a team that follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality while contributing to division results and performance.

Hourly Rate:

$20-22

Responsibilities:

• Check on equipment throughout the shift to ensure it is working properly.

• Contribute to division results and performance.

• Respond to internal and external customer needs and expectations.

• Bag products, sample and test.

• Calibrate PH probes.

• Operate a filter press.

• Run facility wastewater treatment plant.

• Sort bottles by size and resin.

• Load and unload deliveries.

• Operate forklift to move bottles and materials through the plant and load/unload trucks.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Operate computer to enter necessary documentation.

• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.

• Generate resin batches.

• Fill and quality test SDI products, processing them from beginning to end.

Experience:

• Experience in environments requiring awareness of other process areas.

• Ability to control work pace and progress on equipment.

• Experience operating within established work routines.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Basic computer skills for entering necessary documentation.

• Ability to perform minor repairs on equipment.

• Forklift operation experience is a plus.

Salary range:

$35,200.00 - $56,300.00
