Swapfiets has bikes, lots of bikes. At the moment more than 240.000! A large part of these bicycles are stored in our warehouses. If you're looking for a good job in a fast-growing scale-up: then don't look any further! You're the reason our Swapfiets bikes are all over the city and, when things go south, you're the hero who fixes them. You help make sure that everything runs like a breeze!.

How you pedal us forward!

• Thanks to you, our shops and warehouses always have bikes ready so that we can offer our service at all times. With a cool head and a lot of creativity, you find a solution for any kind of bottleneck.

• You lead the logistics team in Hamburg and Hanover and ensure great teamwork. You train new team members and get them ready for the job.

• With a trained eye, you monitor the inbound and outbound flow in order to recognize and eliminate bottlenecks at an early stage. You are responsible for the S&OE process of "your" warehouses.

• You ensure that our shops and warehouses are always supplied with bikes and spare parts so that we can offer our service at all times. You are responsible for stock management in the warehouse in Hamburg and guide the logistics team in Hanover in this regard.

• Coordinating Swapfiets deliveries to our warehouses in Hamburg and Hanover as well as to the stores.

• You will work with our logistics team in the Netherlands and our main warehouse to ensure that there are always enough bikes and spare parts in "your" warehouses.

• You will be responsible for organizing the shifts on site to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

• Planning and conducting stock counts to ensure that everything is where it should be.

• You will actively work on various projects to further optimize our processes.

The gear you need:

• You are familiar with logistics processes thanks to 1–3 years of professional experience and preferably thanks to your training in the logistics sector

• Organizing, planning and meeting deadlines are your thing - you like things to run smoothly and have the right ideas for making that happen

• Ad-hoc tasks don't throw you off track - you can prioritize efficiently at all times

• You have a talent for communication and are great at leading teams

• German and English are not a problem for you
