The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated HSE Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing health, safety, and environmental standards within our local unit to ensure compliance with regulations.
Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, providing training, managing incident investigations, and promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
How you will make an impact
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and internal policies.
Conduct comprehensive HSE risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
Lead HSE training programs to promote safety awareness and compliance.
Monitor and report on key HSE performance indicators and metrics.
Perform regular HSE audits and inspections to assess compliance.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills.
Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Champion HSE initiatives to drive continuous improvement and engage employees.
Your background
Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (CAP IV or VI, recognized by ACT).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE roles within the industrial, construction, or energy sector.
Strong understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing control measures.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions and engage employees, both in English and Portuguese.
Ability to drive behavioral change and promote a culture of HSE responsibility.
