Junior Controller | Corporate Functions

In this exiting role you will provide ongoing support to your team and to assigned departments, in an international and fast paced environment.

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity at Polestar for a Junior controller. You will play an important role in the controlling team and be the responsible controller for one or two smaller departments and support the team and manager with analysis, presentations and consolidation of data.

You will be based in our Headquarter in Gothenburg.

 

The responsibilities

• Monthly reporting and analysis to department heads, FP&A and accounting teams, with insights to the assigned department(s).
• Consolidation of global fixed costs.
• Preparation of accruals for assigned department(s).
• Preparation and consolidation of monthly accruals files for all departments.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts together with the department’s managers.
• Support business in the purchasing process.
• Ad-hoc request and projects.

 

The ideal candidate 

Maybe you graduate this year or have a couple of years’ experience. You are a true team player and don’t hesitate to help a college in need or lead a project that will simplify the work for yourself and others. A structured way of working and attention to detail is also required.

Other important skills for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration
• Work experience as accountant, accounting assistant or auditor, part- of full time.
