Main purpose of positionCurrently we are looking for a HR Manager in Tunis, Tunisia to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our HR Manager will be providing an employee-orientated; high performance culture and work environment that emphasizes empowerment, equality, productivity, and alignment towards implementation of global strategies and local priorities. You will also develop and drive the People strategy in the country, and ensure that global HR strategies, processes, procedures and programs are effectively implemented in Tunisia while also adapting these practices to meet the specific needs of the Tunisian market. The HR Manager will play a critical role in driving HR service delivery, organizational development, talent management, leadership development, and compensation & benefits within the country.
Main responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all HR-related matters, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Drive organizational development initiatives that support the company's growth in Tunisia
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent in Tunisia; Develop and implement talent management strategies to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees.
- Contribute to building a global and holistic performance and competence driven culture in country
- Ensure implementation and development of compensation and benefits in country based on corporate guidelines; collaborate with global compensation teams to adapt global compensation strategies to the local context.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management in accordance with local laws and company policies
- Take lead and manage office premises and infrastructure.
- Ensure efficient office and admin operations
Qualifications and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree desirable.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role
- Extensive knowledge of Tunisian labor laws and HR practices.
- Proven experience in leading HR functions within a multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of global HR practices and the ability to adapt them to the local context.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English, Arabic and French (written and spoken)
