As a Sample Preparation Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring all samples are appropriately receipted, sorted, prepared, packed and sent for analysis in a timely manner to achieve operational, customer and quality requirements.

This autonomous role will focus on:

Receipting samples from walk-ins
Checking the PO Box for sample deliveries
Ensuring client details and test requirements are correct
Drying samples in ovens
Grinding of soils & plant samples as required
Adequately packing and organising courier pickups using an online portal
Ensuring the courier deadlines are met
Working in the fast-paced sample receipt and preparation area
Ensuring samples are completed in a timely manner and correct methods, procedures and work instructions are adhered to
