Rotoflow is a full-service turbomachinery OEM - providing a wide range of new equipment solutions and aftermarket services to our customers globally. For over 75 years, Rotoflow has designed and manufactured both standard and custom-engineered cryogenic and warm gas centrifugal turbomachinery used in market segments such as industrial gases, petrochemicals, and hydrocarbons. Products include compressor loaded turbo-expanders, generator-loaded power recovery expanders, and low-cost dissipative expanders. We offer new equipment designs, rerates, upgrades and repair along with field services, engineering evaluations, reliability, troubleshooting, training, remote diagnostics/data monitoring, shop services, and new equipment replacements for all types of centrifugal and reciprocating equipment. Our customers are served globally through regional service centers supported by both regional and centralized execution teams.
Gardner Cryogenics designs and manufactures high-performance, highly reliable, long-lasting storage tanks used to transport hydrogen and helium molecules around the globe. With more than six decades of experience, Gardner provides customers with industry-leading technology that enables them to cost-effectively move and store molecules with near zero loss. The unique technology developed by Gardner provides the lowest heat-leak for the highest yield when transporting, storing, and transferring helium and hydrogen.
We are seeking a results-oriented Planning and Scheduling Team Manager for our Gardner Cryogenics and Rotoflow manufacturing facilities, within the Lehigh Valley, PA. This position will be responsible for managing planning and scheduling team and overseeing the entire process from new order intake through delivery of contract, including aggregating information for resource planning, reporting of on-time delivery metrics, and helping to drive process improvements in the speed of execution, process efficiency and fulfilment of orders. This position interfaces closely with Sales and Proposals, Manufacturing, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure execution and manufacturing dates are being met. This position will be located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and will split time between the Rotoflow and Gardner facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the team of planners and schedulers across Gardner and Rotoflow,
- Acting as a mentor, guide, and decision maker for the team to enable peak performance and remove barriers to progress,
- Conducting performance evaluations and direct day-to-day management of team members,
- Setting overarching goals, objectives, and development plans for the team and team members aligned with leadership cascaded goals,
- Driving the team to efficiently and effectively plan and schedule activities aligned with Project Management milestones and delivery schedules,
- Owning and driving enhancement and improving accuracy of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and reporting out to the Leadership Team,
- Translating sales opportunity pipeline into workforce and facility demand and capacity planning and scheduling (S&OP),
- Working closely with Sales and Proposals to anticipate order timing and align proposal schedules and deliveries with current workload, supplier loading and availability, and facility capacity to ensure appropriate customer deliveries are achievable,
- Setting priorities, finding solutions, and collaborating with all disciplines within the business to enable the faithful execution of work,
- Driving the optimization of plans and schedules based on inputs (part availability, resource availability, work center availability, etc.) to accommodate unplanned or unforeseen circumstances such as customer emergencies,
- Developing a world class planning and scheduling work processes, systems, and tools to enable efficient and effective execution of all aspects of work aligned with the business growth goals,
- Assessing and resolving limitations, gaps, constraints, bottlenecks, delays, and other unplanned barriers impacting engineering and manufacturing,
- Leading production meetings,
- Developing and owning key performance indicators for planning and scheduling and reporting out to the Leadership Team,
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- B.S. in a technical discipline preferred. Experience considered in lieu of a technical degree.
- Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience with discrete equipment manufacturing or similar.
- Prior leadership experience leading a team of direct reports.
- Exemplify a passion for winning and ability to motivate teams.
- Working knowledge of SAP Production Planning module preferred.
- Certifications such as PPM, APICS, ASM, or related are a strong plus.
- Experience with MS Office Suite, (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- Broad strategic thinker, with a clear vision and direction to improve business performance.
- Proven track record for planning and scheduling process improvement and results.
- Advanced problem-solving skills. Identify and recommend alternative solutions and translate complex concepts into simplified and understandable examples.
- Detail, goal, and results oriented, organized, creative, self-motivated, collaborative, and customer focused.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal and presentation).
- Highly effective communication, collaboration, conflict management, performance management, data driven and analytical approach.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects or tasks and collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and suppliers in shop, office, and field environments.
- High energy, desire to learn new skills, and desire to understand the specifics of the processes and inter-related steps that are required to fulfil a variety of orders, from design, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing.
- Ability to create an environment of trust and consistently exhibit a positive attitude.
