About the Job
The Physical Security Analyst position will be a member of the Global Security team within Lucid Motors. In this role, the SOC analyst will support a 24x7x365 operation for the Global Security team. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring alerts for potential threats and security irregularities, analyzing content of those alerts and providing a written analysis for each. The analyst will work closely with Sr. SOC Supervisor and SOC Operators who will serve as an escalation point. Duties include Security Monitoring, Analysis, Investigations and Response. This role will report directly to the Regional Security Manager, North America Operations.
You Will:
- Using multiple open-source intelligence sites, monitor global events and use critical thinking to identify whether action is needed to protect Lucid assets
- Utilize the crisis communication process to quickly inform/respond to events that may impact Lucid employees, assets, and continually monitor these situations to provide updates to the appropriate leadership
- Conduct research, assessment, and analysis to produce in-depth reports to support a variety of operational needs and help mitigate natural and man-made threats against Lucid assets worldwide
- Peer review work products, evaluating relevance, grammar, spelling, and overall content
- Construct routine security briefs/reports on a wide variety of topics
- Identify and report on existing and emerging security threats where Lucid conducts business
- Monitor incidents of civil unrest, natural hazards, geopolitics, and crime
- Generate professional and easy to interpret reports based on collected data
- Maintain awareness/knowledge of the current international climate, specifically where it affects our employees
- Be the analytical focal point for the team’s security intelligence gathering processes
- Take initiative to innovate new products and reports to address vulnerabilities and threats as well as streamlining processes
- Support the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and the rest of the Global Security team as needed
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in an environment where there is an expectation for constant learning
- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Acute attention to detail and evaluative thinking skills
- Problem Solving

- Experience with open-source intelligence including social media and messaging platforms
- Formal training in OSINT techniques & data analysis is desired.
