About this Job

As a Senior RF Test Engineer at Eridan you will play a critical role in supporting the upcoming deployment of our commercial product. A successful Test Engineer will be a creative and flexible individual with a mastery of test equipment, automation software, and electronic design and manufacturing.

Given our anticipated growth, a RF Test Engineer at Eridan must be willing to learn new techniques quickly and be able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for data driven individuals who are comfortable working with a cross-disciplinary approach to solve problems independently as well as in a team. We look for engineers with persistence, curiosity, and excellent communication skills.

As our Senior RF Test Engineer, you will:

• Work closely with design and production teams to define the specific test requirements 
• Develop test software solutions to automate data collection and reports
• Publish and maintain progress to schedules and testing status
• Develop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems
• Run tests through all stages of component and final product
• Analyze test results, identify potential malfunctions, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements
• Debug product in the lab. Investigations include hardware, software, firmware, and fixturing.
• Create test docs for Proto, EVT, DVT & PVT
• Maintain test database, documenting technical issues, and solutions

Qualities of a Successful Candidate

• 7+ years of experience as a RF Test Engineer or similar role
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant field
• Ability to write test software in C#. Additional languages are a plus (i.e. Python, C, C++, etc.)
• Solid foundation of comms theory and signal processing

Preferred Qualities/Nice to have

• Working knowledge of ORAN and 3GPP 5G system specifications, or Wi-Fi
• Experience with System Requirement and Design Validation or Verification
• Familiarity with various testing techniques
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
• General electrical power engineering experience 
• Analog electronics skills
• Experience leading a team of RF Test Engineers

Salary Range

Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $130,000 and $160,000 plus stock options and benefits.
