Job description

The Global IT Capability Lead closely collaborates with Business, Enterprise Architecture, and Data & Analytics to deliver sustainable, scalable, and future-proof technology solutions across three key functional domains:

• ESG: Drive reporting, compliance, and performance tracking aligned with frameworks like CSRD, GRI, and SASB.
• Health & Safety Operations: Enhance incident management, risk assessments, and compliance tracking.
• Product Development & Innovation: Optimize portfolio planning, project prioritization, resource management, and governance (using tools like Planisware).

Responsibilities:

• Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure global consistency within the IT Operating model, align stakeholders’ expectations, resolve conflicts and mitigate risks.
• Leadership & Strategy Development: Design capabilities, develop technology roadmaps, make build vs. buy decisions, define platform strategies, establish solution & data architecture, and drive data transformation.
• Delivery & Value Realization: Implement a Platform as a Product approach, recommend high-impact solutions while optimizing TCO, monitor performance KPIs, manage resources, and partner with BUs for global capability deployment.
• Capability Operations: Ensure operational performance & business satisfaction, execute ITIL-aligned service management processes, ensure documentation, knowledge management & operational readiness, monitor operational KPIs, and resolve high-priority operational risks or incidents.

The role operates at a global level (matrix organization) and is based in our headquarters in Brussels, with flexible home working possibilities.

Requirements

• Several years of demonstrated success in delivering integrated digital solutions across various functional domains, including technology roadmaps and capability strategies.
• Strong knowledge of the ITIL framework and best practices. Certification is a plus.
• Ability to convert business requests into system and data requirements, with a solid understanding of data-driven design, governance, and solution architecture.
• Advanced business partnership skills, with the ability to build strategic relationships, manage stakeholders effectively and interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level platforms and SaaS solutions. Experience with relevant functional tools is a plus (ESG platforms: Cority, WeSustain, Project/Innovation Management: Planisware, Eureka).
• IT projects experience within an international matrix organization, preferably in sectors such as manufacturing, pharma, retail, or supply chain.
