Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Korea. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of domestic tax compliance, tax advisory for business operations, and support for tax audits. The position will also cover transfer pricing matters and ensure tax risk is effectively managed in accordance with local regulations and global policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage domestic corporate tax compliance including CIT, VAT, WHT, and local filing requirements.
• Provide business tax advisory to cross-functional teams on matters including contracts, pricing, potential PE (permanent establishment) issues, VAT, and other tax implications.
• Lead and support tax audit responses and liaise with external advisors and tax authorities as needed.
• Monitor changes in local tax laws and proactively assess the impact on the business.
• Facilitate transfer pricing documentation, including Local File preparation and intercompany transactions compliance.
• Support global tax team initiatives and reporting, ensuring alignment with corporate tax strategy and policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, sales, etc.) to ensure tax-efficient and compliant business operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or Korean licensed tax accountant (CTA) preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in tax, preferably with a mix of in-house and Big 4 firm experience.
• Strong understanding of Korean tax laws and international tax concepts (e.g., transfer pricing, PE, BEPS).
• Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
