Revenue Accounting Manager

What you'll do

• Execute and own the month-end and year-end close processes for revenue. Key focus areas include Revenue Recognition (in accordance with ASC 606), Contract Review, Invoicing, Cost of Goods Sold, Inventory and Sales Commissions.
• Work cross functionally to understand and create new workflows and processes for complex areas of the business.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Coordinate and manage audits, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all required documentation is prepared.
• Assist with the implementation of various accounting technology software.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Startup experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience implementing and improving business processes and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle complex data.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 340-40.
• Experience in Inventory Management and Cost of Goods Sold.
