Business Development Manager - Fleet Partnerships

About the Role:
Exponent Energy is on a mission to simplify energy for electric vehicles through its energy stack. As a Business Development Manager, your core responsibility will be identifying, engaging, and onboarding a robust network of Small Fleet Operators (SFOs) to adopt our cutting-edge energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and build a pipeline of SFOs in strategic micro-markets across the region
• Educate fleet operators on the benefits of Exponent’s fast-charging ecosystem
• Drive adoption by managing end-to-end onboarding — from pitch to deployment
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure successful rollouts
• Maintain strong, ongoing relationships to drive retention and cross-sell opportunities
• Track market trends and competitor activity to refine outreach strategy
• Meet monthly acquisition and activation targets

Requirements:

• Proven experience in B2B sales or partnerships, preferably in EVs, logistics, or mobility
• A strong network within the fleet operator ecosystem is a plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and target-driven mindset
• Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories
