👩‍💻 About The Role:
As a Data Engineer on the central Engineering squad, you will build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our analytics, data science, and product teams. You’ll design, develop and optimize scalable pipelines and platforms, driving architectural decisions and best practices. You’ll ensure our systems are robust, high-performance, and secure. This hands-on role directly enables the company to turn data into strategic insights and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines using SQL, Python, on tools like Databricks and dbt to ingest, transform, and serve data.
  
• Leverage IaC to define, provision, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring infrastructure-as-code best practices and reliable, reproducible deployments
  
• Identify performance bottlenecks, tune queries, and automate repetitive workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency at scale
  
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to understand requirements, iterate on solutions, and deliver high-quality, production-grade data assets/systems.
  
• Develop monitoring and alerting around data jobs, ownership of SLAs, and troubleshooting of platform issues.
  
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies; pilot new tools and frameworks to continuously elevate our data platform capabilities.
  

Who You Are:

• Proficient in Python and SQL, with hands-on production experience developing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
  
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD methodologies, with a proven background designing, deploying, and optimizing automated delivery workflows.
  
• Curious and self-driven, being eager to deep-dive into Databricks, dbt, and other cutting-edge data engineering tools to solve complex challenges.
  
• Quickly adapts to new environments, frameworks, and business domains; able to ramp up independently and contribute from day one.
  
• Meticulous in your work, with a keen eye for data quality, correctness, and edge-cases; you take pride in delivering bullet-proof solutions that scale.
  
• Great team player and communicator, ready to share knowledge, solicit feedback, and collaborate effectively within a diverse, agile team.
  
  

📍 Location
Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
