Your Role & Mission - As Head of Sales for Europe, you will lead the regional enterprise sales strategy and execution for our innovative ClimateTech SaaS solutions. This is a key leadership role focused on scaling revenue, building and managing high-performing teams, and expanding market presence across Europe. You’ll be responsible for driving strategic growth, forging strong customer relationships, and enabling sustainable energy and emissions reduction through software.

Reports to: VP Carbon Transformation

Your tasks
  • Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and execute a Go-To-Market sales strategy aligned with company goals for the European market

    • Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging enterprise and sustainability software landscape opportunities

    • Forecast sales performance and drive pipeline development 

  • Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, mentor, and manage a growing sales team, including Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, and Inside Sales Managers

    • Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Customer Engagement:

    • Cultivate relationships with clients across defined industry segments

    • Oversee the full sales cycle, including discovery, proposal development, and contract negotiation

  • Performance & Reporting:

    • Define KPIs,  track metrics, and report regularly on sales activity, conversion rates, and revenue performance

    • Utilize Salesforce to manage performance and optimize efficiency

Your profile
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within a B2B SaaS company, ideally in cleantech, energy, sustainability, or ESG domains

  • Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth in the European market, with a focus on the DACH region

  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, value-based selling, and complex deal structuring

  • Experience scaling and managing cross-border teams in a high-growth environment

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Native German speaker (or equivalent fluency) with professional proficiency in English

  • Passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and decarbonisation strategy development in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and vision

  • Ideally, already familiar with carbon accounting, ESG reporting, or climate tech platforms

  • Experience working with diverse, hybrid teams in a fast-paced and rapidly changing start-up environment

  • Based in the Munich area and willing to regularly travel to our Berlin office and across the region as required
