Responsibilities / TasksRoles &amp; ResponsibilitiesCustoms &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure Import/Export pre-shipments document compliance checks as per Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).</li><li>Knowledge of Bank Guarantee, Continuity Bond, and E-Bonds Customs Licenses (MEIS, Advance Authorization).</li><li>Review and validate Import/Export documentation before shipments leave the original location (SIMS, NFMIMS, BIS, etc.).</li><li>Ensure all EOU, DTA, and Trading compliance requirements are met by Customs rules.</li><li>Working knowledge of SOFTEX processes including PO verification and timely MPR filing (added advantage).</li><li>Handle HSN allocation and ensure timely actions as per FTP; independently manage HSN queries with Sales, Procurement, and Project teams.</li><li>Strong understanding of SVB and Provisional Duty (PD) Bonds.</li><li>Hands-on experience with EOU import/export compliance operations (added advantage).</li></ul>Regulatory &amp; Financial Controls<ul><li>Ability to handle IDPMS/EDPMS/FEMA-related escalations from Finance.</li><li>Knowledge of Government incentive schemes such as DBK and RoDTEP.</li><li>Understanding of IGM corrections, High Sea Sales, and cross-country trade processes.</li><li>Basic understanding of BIS standards and trade requirements.</li><li>Sensitivity and sound judgment in handling customs litigations.</li></ul>Logistics &amp; Operations<ul><li>Capable of handling Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, and Project Cargo movements (International &amp; Domestic).</li><li>Manage coordination for large-scale, time-sensitive, and project-based logistics operations.</li><li>Proactive identification and mitigation of potential delays and operational issues across remote GEA India locations.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.</li><li>5–8 years minimum of hands-on experience in Import/Export operations (EOU, DTA &amp; Project Logistics).</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in English and Hindi.</li><li>Excellent command over MS Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.</li><li>Strong team player with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of handling operations in remote locations.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
